Double-Cocoon Silk That Holds Its Loft<\/h3>\n

Most silk is spun from a single cocoon. We fill only with double-cocoon, or doupion, silk, formed when two silkworms spin one cocoon together. The naturally intertwined filaments are thicker and more resilient, so the fill stays plump and springs back where ordinary silk thins and flattens. More body, more warmth and a far longer life.<\/p>\n

Long-Strand Mulberry Silk That Will Not Clump<\/h3>\n

Cheaper duvets are stuffed with chopped short floss that shifts and clumps into cold spots. Ours is Grade 6A long-strand mulberry silk, hand-drawn into long continuous strands that can reach up to 1,200 metres. The fill lies as one soft, breathable web that never separates into cold layers and stays exactly where you put it.<\/p>\n
